Love your blog! Great seeing all these species I never otherwise get to see. I work for the Fish and Game Dept., here in San Francisco, my blog talks a lot about our local Pacific fisheries. It’s cool how different areas of the world develop their own fishing boat aesthetics–usually shaped by the fish they pursue. Here in SF it was all about the Faluccas, (the boats of Portugese and Italian immigrants) then came the Monterrey boats.
There is a fishery here for Humbolt squid off shore, they are massive. Crazy stuff.
Also: nice lobsters, yesterday my buddy and I went off shore in our kayaks and picked twenty monster sized Dungenss crabs… just bragging.
Love the blog. If you have any interest in SF’s fisheries check me out. Otherwise… Thanks!
Now THAT’S a cool boat!
Your blog have let me feel another sight of fishing.

Hi, I hope you can help me with fishing in Croatia
is it true that recreational fishing is prohibited in harbors and small ports and on public beaches and bathing places from May 1st until October 1st?
is it possible for a tourist to the islands (Hvar, Brac) to drop a line somewhere?
Cheers,
Phil
